Yoga Classes at Lincoln Park Cultural Center

Yoga Classes at Lincoln Park Cultural Center

We offer affordable and some complimentary yoga class series at the Lincoln Park Cultural Center. The Lincoln Park Cultural Center is located at 2045 N Lincoln Park W, Chicago, IL 60614.

We offer affordable yoga classes for seniors and adults in a variety of formats. All classes are appropriate for beginners and no prior experience is required. We recommend registering early as classes have a tendency to fill up fast. Please note that class times are not interchangeable. Price is for the entire series. we do not offer refunds, transfers, or pro-rating.

Current Yoga Classes Available

All yoga classes are open to beginners! Some classes may be more challenging than others or certain postures may not be in a student’s practice but we encourage students to enroll based on their needs and modifications will be provided as needed. We encourage all students to ask for help if something doesn’t feel “right”

Currently, all yoga classes require students to be able to comfortably and safely get up and down off the floor. If you are interested in chair yoga, where students can practice with the support of the chair and not move to the floor, please join our chair yoga interest list.

What You’ll Need For Yoga Class

While there are limited supplies at the park, for sanitary and practical reasons, we suggest everyone to have their own yoga mat. You may purchase these anywhere but we can also order them for you and bring them your first day of class. If you would like us to order them for you, simply register for class and you will see an add on button upon checkout.

Additionally, please bring a small hand towel to wipe down any supplies used from the park

Participants will need the following supplies for class. We have provided several links to products we like for convenience but students are welcome to purchase whatever they like.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Please be advised we do not offer any refunds, exchanges, prorating, or transfers for any reason including medical reasons.  To make quality yoga classes available, we are unable to accommodate personal circumstances.

The pricing is for the entire class series and not per class. We will make best efforts to make up classes that are canceled due to inclement weather, instructor sickness, or personal emergency. However, please be aware sometimes we are unable to schedule a makeup session due to meeting place requirements.

About the Instructors

Paul Czajkowski, RYT 200

Paul Yoga

Paul received his 200 YTA certification, under the instruction of Suddha Weixler, at the Chicago Yoga Center in 2017. A trained actor/improviser and musician, Paul fell into his yoga practice while studying Contact Improv with Chicago based performance company, Creative Wellness in 2015. Also, Paul recently was certified in Restorative Yoga, by Cindy Huston at Yoga Body Elements.

Paul's Mindful Vinyasa class is a slow flow style class with a focus on deep breathing. Class starts with light Pranayama (breathing meditation), then a morning (sunrise) sequence that incorporates restorative yoga poses. This class is a great way to ease into your morning with breath work and awakening poses that helps to ease tension in the body, and to feel centered.
